Acweorna! This week’s show is tinged with sadness as several musicians this week have passed away: Algy Ward from The Saints, The Damned and his own creation TANK. Andy Rouke from The Smiths and Tina Turner. Three completely different musicians but all making a huge dent in the genres in which they played. As you can see there was a lot of music crammed in the hour this week. This is due to yesterday being my wife’s Birthday, so it was, obviously, a day spent spoiling her, the day before on Thursday, straight after work, I bombed down to Brighton to see The Hip Priests along with The Bitch Queens and Rough Gutts, the shenanigans of which you’ll hear all about on next weeks show. This meant there was only 3 days for us, that’s Barton, Fenny and myself, to cobble the music together, so less talking more music playing. Which some might consider a good thing……..
