Acweorna! On last nights, or Sunday Mornings, Paranoid Squirrel Rock Show, the Rock Radio UK Edition, I played the final studio version of “Keep The Sun” by Cockeyed Ghost as last week I played the demo. A couple of stragglers from Record Shop Day are aired in the shape and form of Dead Horse, the punk supergroup that never was featuring members of The Damned, Sex Pistols, Generation X and Twenty Flight Rockers. I bought both the UK Subs contribution but settled on the singles compilation to air and not the live album. Janus Stark have lust released a new digital Archive album that features work in progress songs that were lined up for the “Great Adventure Cigar” album, a track from which I play. I was invited to The Soho Vampyres gathering last Saturday and got involved in a great conversation about Stiff Little Fingers, hence the SLF song, got reacquainted with former Damned member Roman Jugg, hence a song from his solo album all to a Peter Fox, the King of Keston, playlist. Tom from The Phobics sent me a link to a track from his occasional band Rubber Legs that obviously I needed to play. Rob Moss and Skin-Tight Skin, The Chuck Norris Experiment, The Hot Damn! all have just released new singles that I air for your consideration. Tony Slug’s sadly final album sees the light of day 6 months after his passing. It features collaborations between the good and the great, the one featuring Nicke Andersson rounds things off this week.
