Acweorna! This episode was pre-recorded as I was due up at The Hope & Anchor for Rockaway Beach #69. However, my Tendinitis flared up on my left foot, putting the kibosh on any thoughts of gig going, ditto Sunday. Gutted is not the word, especially as my physio cancelled on me Thursday. I’m literally hopping mad. All that apart “Covers Corner” finally returns, that pleased Barton, with five excellent tunes. I did manage to get to a gig last Saturday, which was handy as I was guest DJ. And what a fantastic night it was, sans myself, Dinosaur Skull, The Cherry Reds, who reformed for this gig, all topped off with Damidge. Su, Superb. Demo(lition) is also back with a track from Monty Oxymoron that didn’t make the cut for “Darkadelic”. The Damned themselves finish off today’s show with my contribution to the “PUNKS LISTEN – A benefit book for the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis appeal”. More details as I get them.
