Cheap Trick welcomed everyone to the start of the show before “Covers Corner” gets an early look in. Included, as promised on last week’s show, is a track from by Jonesy from the Poison Boys/Jonesy split album. I also play another Poison Boys tune, well there were both covers. The Joy Of Elephant officially released yesterday a debut track which obviously I play. As it was BandCamp Friday yesterday both Rob Moss and Skin-Tight Skin along with Tom Spencer, (The Yo-Yo’s, The Loyalties and The Professionals) released new material for said day. On the new front it’s Moons of Saturn, who feature Håkan Göstas formally of Squirrel favourites The Curse, Sons of Cobra, although technically the single was new at the end of last year, The Chuck Norris Experiment, Royal Republic and finally, but by no means least, Asomvel.
